Great experience! Super easy to book appointment and clear guidance on how to get there. I was helped by Aneesa - she was lovely. Incredibly friendly and approachable, was completely comfortable asking her questions and she was confident and knowledgeable. The optometrist Aysha was polite, friendly, thorough in her checks, and made sure I knew what was happening. She explained what my options were and answered all my questions clearly. Fantastic service, would recommend :)

I booked my appointment online this morning on the way to Meadowhall as I had broken my glasses. When I got to Boots it was very busy and I was told there might be a 10-15 minute wait which was fine. The queue went down very quickly and a man (I can't remember his name now) did all the pre eye checks and explained what he was doing each time. I then waited only a few moments before Lionel my optician saw me. He was very friendly. He did a thorough eye check and actually told me I no longer needed my glasses (yay!). I mentioned that I had an issue with my eyes running and he was more than happy to look at this and popped in some drops and had a good look. He explained the problem and how to monitor it. He also said I could come back if needed. I was then met by Shuab who took my payment and voucher for the eye test. It was a very good, efficient service from all involved.

Wouldn't go there again. Kept waiting for my appointment manager kept having to chase his staff. One of the machines wasn't working as I later found out, I was told by the optician she would ring me to go back in for the test on this machine I have never heard from them since. Had my eyes tested at another opticians as I was left feeling I hadn't had good service and my new eye test was very different from the one at boots. All in all I would never go back there.
